I loved Josh, my favourite player in that team and one which I felt we should have moved heaven and earth to keep. Absolutely bonkers we didn't, when you consider the money we wasted shortly afterwards on panic buys. Complete midfielder, loved a tackle, could score a goal and was decent on the ball… The best we have had since Sheridan to do that.

His Dad's a tool though and if I was Scowen I'd be telling him to wind his neck in.

Agree with you there pal, would've kept us up last season I'm sure of it.

His dad is a complete bell end, he's allowed to say what he wants to who he wants but nobody can criticise his precious boy. Strange that a fiesty little player needs his dad to stick up for him on social media, pathetic in fact.

Didn't him and his dad both have a whinge on twitter (and then delete it straight after) when we gave Hammill the No7 shirt when he signed his new deal?

To be fair I’ve always been uneasy about that situation. Taking a number off one lad without telling him to give to another in the team isn’t good craic at all.

I dont get this these days.

Our kid was given number 5 for his team. Only for another parent to kick off.

So I told the manager to put 89 on his back. I dont care.

Needless to say the manager sat and thought about it and announced the squad numbers.

He got 5 anyway. But to be honest it's not like the straight 1-11 it used to be so I don't really get the scramble these days.

But I'm recently over that magic number where apparently it's now all down hill anyway. So I must be getting old :(

I think he needs to grow up if he's that arsed about a number, as should Hammill if he demanded the number.

Scowen was right to be pissed off. They didn’t even tell him beforehand, just announced it on Twitter. Poor
