The coincidences in the Salisbury poisoning keep coming

one of the suspects not only on holiday also ( Sky say)is a Colonel in the Russian security services .
I mean what are the odds!

 

It seems quite feasible to me but I would always believe our security services before any Russian propaganda. The video of the two Russian 'tourists' was almost beyond parody.

We haven't actually heard from the security services though. We've had information from a number of proven liars in government. They could be telling the complete and honest truth, but we all know the story of "the boy who cried wolf".

 

The evidence presented to the government seems pretty convincing to me. We may have a blotted copy book, we all know why, but it on this occasion everybody except Russia and a few conspiracy theorists believe the evidence.

 

No, how would I?

 

I haven't seen the evidence in detail, so aren't commenting on that. But if the messenger tell lies on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, and continues to tell lies about other things, then how can we believe that they are 100% telling the truth on this or any other subject?

 

I'm not talking about any other subject, everybody with an open mind knows that politicians of all colours lie and bend the truth in pursuit of power or retaining power.

The government, on this occasion, are merely reporting where the evidence they have points towards and despite political differences the same evidence has been accepted by a large part of the international community. I haven't read all the evidence, just bits from varying sources and although I have one unanswered question I am convinced that the attacks in Salisbury were carried out by Russians and were almost certainly state sponsored.
