Get your point but they’re both ours. Woodrow will sign on Jan 1. Option to buy Bähre. A lot different to previous years. But I suspect you know that already
If you don't count the one on loan until January and the other that's on loan until the end of the season.
I do, realistically I'd say we have one loan as Bahre is a option to buy so we don't have to go through with it. So to me that is a loan, Woodrow is ours and the loan in just the loophole in the transfer window.
Even though you spent all day yesterday moaning that we weren't signing anybody.......who would have been loans
Loans are hit and miss mcburnie was a great loan last season and brownhill and Fletcher were a big part of the promotion season. But then again for every Fletcher there's a ugbo.
Nudge, get your point mate but technically we do have two on loan, one of which we won’t necessarily sign, and our last season at this level we were promoted at least in part due to quality loan signings. It’s part of the game. Yes you can argue we are developing players for other teams, but we could also be cheaply strengthening the first team. And a lot of other teams in our division do the same, not doing so would disadvantage us perhaps. I’d have had another face or two come in to be honest, we’re hardly flush with options in all areas, particularly wide areas and maybe a centre forward. The squad does look competitive though, and I like the way Stendel organises them. He knows more than us. We will go close for sure. And there’s always January.
Both the current loans are not proper loans - they are actually our players. Yes I would have been over the moon if we had got a couple of young Premiership players in on loan. But the point here is ...... that on the other hand I think it’s very interesting and exciting what the owners plans are - to develop OUR OWN players. This is totally different to how the club has been managed by the previous owners.
