    He was not good enough for us at the time in the championship. That's the problem when all someone has played is youth level football you never know for sure until you throw them in. Doesn't mean he can't be a decent player in the future though.

    Problem is when clubs like Chelsea want clubs like Barnsley to find out if their players are good enough for them.

    It's fine if you get players like Chopra or Nardiello. It's less fine when you get Conor Wilkinson or Alex Kiwomya.

    The worst loan deal we had is the type agreed for Ryan Kent. You must select our player 40 times - even if he's **** and we're getting rid first opportunity.

    I agree and so far we appear to have moved away from that this year. Hopefully that trend will continue, don't mind taking a couple of loans here and there but non of this building a team of loans and players who must play x number of times or face a fine.
