Sounds a horrible piece of work..... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...elets-brutal-cost-cutting-refusal-listen.html Hope the fans manage to force him out.
60 million worth of debt ? Where the hell has that come from ? I don't remember Charlton going on a wednesday esque shopping spree .
Am I the only one seeing nothing wrong with the crisp thing? To save money on cleaning bills for he offices he has asked staff not to eat at their desks but instead to go to the canteen area to eat. Personally I don't think that's an unreasonable order. I'm not allowed to eat in my workplace either, if I'm hungry I have to go outside or to the kitchen to eat as they are designated rest areas. The same applied at my last job and in fact the one before that too. I've never even considered that it was unreasonable.
Who gives a ****, it’s yet another club that’s lived beyond its means. Why did scowen move? For an extra 10k a week. The club he went to couldn’t actually affordhis wages. Copy and paste: Roberts, hourihane, Watkins, winnall, morsey etc. What I do agree with is that the efl are a weak joke of an outfit so this will never be addressed. McCormack kept Leeds up the year we got relegated. They simply couldn’t afford his wages.
I never realised that Charlton were in such a mess. It's a shame because as far as London clubs go I quite like them.
It sounds like a mess. But cutting back when they’re losing £10m a year is fully understandable. And as mentioned further up - not all places allow food at the desk for the same reason. If I was losing £10m a year, then I’d be cutting back like crazy too - what do the fans expect. We’ve been through the ‘tight days’ when The Don was in charge - but that was his remit. Keep it tight from PC himself. I’m not sure all this protesting will help - just incur further costs for the club. If he’s on the verge of selling then hopefully it’ll go through.
http://the72.co.uk/78562/charlton-faces-one-worst-debts-club-history/ Good article to explain . Looks like the owner borrowed the money / transferred debts to cover existing debts from his own companies . Charlton owner then charges the club interest on that debt , but it's his club.....
