Assuming Cauley starts on the bench, but I could well be wrong. What’s the starting line up? Does Victor get a start in a straight swap with TB or something a bit more radical? Can we trust Moncur to put a shift in from the start? Did wonder about Mama or Potts, but that forces other changes upon us. The more I think about it, the more it must be Vic or Cauley, straight swap.
It will depend on his fitness level. Is he match-fit? If he is, he starts on the bench for me. Is he injured? In which case he doesn't make the bench. Adeboyejo to start for me, either way and Woodrow to come on as a sub, if he is match-fit. We also need a different type of striker to unlock the AFC Wimbledon type defences and, having got Woodrow on board, Conor Chaplin would now be the perfect signing in that respect. I hope that we are still in for him, because he will give us something different which we will need as the season unfolds.
I hope we are still in for Chaplin too. We are still exposed with only two senior strikers Ideally the lad from Hannover too I would be happy the coaches had what they needed then.

I do not get this love in with Chaplin , yes I hope we add to the squad & if it is Chaplin I hope he turns out to be a great signing, but currently he does not get in the Pompy side & with the best will in the world, if he is that good then why does he not feature on a regular basis for them ?
If he did his hamstring yesterday he won't be playing anytime soon. If he's in the squad, he should be starting so it's a straight swap for Bradshaw and we aren't faffing around changing positions around after a 4-0 easy victory the other night. Bringing in a new player, only for them to be on the bench whilst switching around a winning team/formation is just complicating matters. It doesn't bother me that he's not trained all week with the squad. If you tell him what to do, I am sure he can follow orders.

If fit he comes straight in, or Victor. No way on this planet should we be changing formation after the start we've had. Moncur works and only works coming on with 20 left to run around in circles in a broken field against tired opposition who've had a battering from Kieffer, Tom (rip), Mama and Potts for 70 minutes. He's managed to get one of his aimless circular runs turned in the right direction once in each of the games so far as a bonus.
Got to start him then. Can't for example move Moore somewhere else after his hat trick or give another wasted start to Moncur. Everybody who played our easy victory the other night deserve to start in the same positions, in the same formation, with the same tactics today.
Good players can adapt to any system , just strange that if he is so good why he does not get used more , although as I said before, if we sign him I hope he will get my full backing & fingers crossed he turns out to be a world beater.
