Looks like the recent tampon thread was pretty apt

Different players, but I've have Brendan at his peak in my side over Bradshaw every time. Dared to take players on. Sometimes lost the ball, sometimes ran down blind alleys, sometimes jinked past defenders and created something out of nothing. And considering he wasn't an out and out striker, he was a very good finisher. Left us at the right time, as his career was winding down, and we were going on to bigger and better things, but definitely one of my all-time favourite players is Brendan.

Yes, was a creator was Brendan. Wasn't loved as much as he should have been, which is why I've flagged him on the departure of Bradshaw. Was a decent player for us. People are bairning about getting a good fee for a want away player, who can't hit a barn door from 12 yards most of the time. Bradshaw is sh!te.

I wouldn't say he's *****. but to put things into perspective, Andy Rammell and Andy Saville both had considerably better goalscoring records for us. And arguably created far, far more for the team as a whole too.

Why would they need tampons then?

Yes, I was being ironic. It is hardly like losing Winnall, Ashley Ward, Bruce Dyer, Neil Shipperley, etc. His main attribute though seems to be he ran around a lot. I agree timing isn't great, but I think having someone with pace & bringing in another wide player would do for me.
