    What happens if a club loans a player with the intention to buy in January and the player in question gets a very bad injury?

    They sign as per contractual agreement.

    All depends on the terms of the agreement really. Though I think @MDG is likely correct that the selling club would protect themselves against this.

    LOL no I was just thinking the club may have a player in mind to replace him, But I was wondering what would happen if the player got a broken leg ect?
