    Just looking into booking and I'm not sure why but its change at Preston for blackpool pleasure beach station?

    Anyone know why? Usually it's straight into blackpool north isn't it?

    Get in touch with network rail they have been upgrading track and signalling this year.

    Whenever I've been on the train its gone straight through to Blackpool from Leeds. Painful journey though, used to take about 3 hours.

    the line is shut,been shut months,you have to go via manc picc or preston.

    And anywhere past Derby until October. Adds 30 minutes to the journey south from Sheffield...

    yes ive seen that but i think thats mainly east midland trains,cross country are still running thro

    Nope. Cross country are going via Alfreton. Adds 25 minutes or so on a trip to Birmingham and its abus from Chesterfield or Burton to Derby.
