One of those with young players. Some look like world beaters at 16 & end up in non league. Hard to say always why that happens. Big Mick gave him a chance, he had something.

Looked so promising in the 60 odd minutes he played at Derby in 2011 on his debut.

Genuinely thought he'd thrive in league one when we went down, looked woefully out of his depth unfortunately.

Being made of glass has hampered him. If he hadn't already had such a stop start career with injuries, he wouldn't be so low on the football pyramid. You expect guys in their 30s to get regular injuries due to years of wear and tear on the body. You don't expect someone who was a teenager at the start of his career spending so much time with the physio. Feel for the lad because it's not his fault.

Speaking of ex players, Peterborough have a bid rejected by Mansfield for Danny Rose.

I remember when we played boro in fa cup under Wilson. Wilson gave him a run out thought he was pulling a invisible caravan very sluggish.

Steve Evans will want to take him to posh with him. More sell on money if it comes off.

Will it be? Didn't we sell him to Bury? Should have already had our sell on when he went to Mansfield shouldn't we?

Yeah your probley right my bad. But according to some on here you receive something every time a player moves some think Brentford will get more out of the mawson deal.

Depends on the wording of the sell on clause.

If it says they get a percentage of a future fee, it’s just that.

If it says they get a percentage of all future profit, they would get a percentage of all money we receive, which would include any sell on money.

If city sold stones for a fortune we’d potentially get more - though only if Everton inserted a sell on clause in the deal, which isn’t hugely likely.

Shame about Digby, he’s never looked mobile enough, good passer if you give him time but as soon as you realise how slow he is at accelerating & changing direction he’s easy to press at any kind of decent level.

That’s probably partly due to his injuries.

Hope he comes good but I can’t see it. Such a shame him & Noble-Lazarus have had promising careers ruined by injuries
