Doing a better job than Alli! At least he's making chances.

He's doing his best up there. Alli is giving the ball away far too much.
Trippier doing very well as usual.

Alli mucked up twice in 1 minute lol. But I think hes the weaker link than Sterling, for the moment anyway.

He's looked dangerous today, but just isn't a goalscorer. I'd play him in the position that Delli Ali is in and play Ali next to Kane...

He should have done better with his chances but Sterling is causing the Swedes problems.

Sterling doesn't seem to know where his colleagues are, and therefore wants to do everything on his own.

He's getting in the right area's and causing the Swedish defenders some real problems. Think he's playing very well. I accept he can be frustrating but he's worth his place for me.

Sterling has got his pace hasnt he, but Alli and even Lingard as well have been non existent for whatever reason.

They’re terrified of him, he’s causing loads of problems for them, I’d rather he was on our side than theirs.

It’s utterly amazing that we could, potentially, get to a semi final with Alli, Lingard and Sterling. They are attrocious. Only decent moment the whole cup of as Lingards goal against the farmers. Imagine we just had a scholes, or a Gazza. Not one of those 3 is international class (yet). But fair play to the team. We’re winning. Perhaps for once we are better than the sum of our parts

Really don't get all this criticism towards Sterling. Alli has been absolute ***** this half and hardly anyone knocking him.

Sterling's job is different to Kane's. He's been a bit unlucky but creating lots of chances. Im sure the Swedes will want him off.

The team are winning. Why do some folk ignore that and instead find someone to knock?

I must be the alone in thinking Stirling is terrifying the Swedes. 1 chance where he was offside, 1 where the goalkeeper just deflected an attempted dink over him by Stirling with his hand and admittedly his last chance he could and should have played the ball across for HK?? rather than attempt to score from the tight angle. Still think he was a bit unlucky not to score at least one of those chances and if he had he would have got the monkey off his back. His pace and positioning to spring the offside trap is causing the Swedes huge problems. Personally, I think it is a confidence thing.

Because they want to be able to say "i told you so" if/when we get knocked out. Typical moaners, no wonder the aussies call us whinging poms!

I was thinking that Stirling despite missing the opportunities ,was having a decent game, his pace is causing the Swedes big problems
