    Ok Man U also don’t play 4-4-2.

    Neither Maguire or Jones regularly play in a back three so you go with the player with the most quality and who doesn’t turn at the pace of the titanic.

    United ordinarily play four at the back. I know this because I follow United.

    Maguire is excellent on the ball and great at reading the play, two key skills that are a pre requisite of any defender in a back three. Do you have something against Maguire? He’s clearly highly rated by Southgate et al.

    As for me being done, you’re right. I’m off to enjoy the game and I’ll leave you wallowing unnecessarily in Jones’ omission.
