    some floozy in the white hose has just cited the D Day landings as an example of the strong relationship the USA has with Germany. You really couldnt make some of this stuff up - there is just no place for political satire anymore

    The 40% churtonred are mostly made up of far right riligious factions, the Jewish people, the gun loby click and the Klu Klux Klan who's moto is America first same as the racist Trump's no medals for guessing were he got that from.

    I know colliers. I've been following it since before he got elected. It's literally unspeakable whats going on there, the venality and blind partisanship of their politics. The worrying thing is that the same threads run through our own politics though not as pronounced yet. God forbid we should hit the same depths they have.

    My mother-in-law comes across as a relatively sensible woman; polite, intelligent enough and lovely with her friends and family. Yet somehow, for some reason, voted for Trump and backs him to the hilt. Literally cannot understand how he's managed to get such a grip on so many people, not all of whom are stupid and/or nasty. Some serious brainwashing has gone on, courtesy I think of Fox News and Co.

    The reason is the democrats and their horrible policies under Clinton and Obama . Then in 2016 who do they put forward ..... Hilary , more of the same . The democrats did what Tony Blair did , jumped to the right and abandoned working class folk . Now people would rather vote for a game show host with false promises . dangerous times indeed politically within the US .
