Best Barnsley Striker I've ever seen and a top professional to boot. This lad belongs in the English Premier League! Has everything, the complete forward. 6 ft 2 and leaps like a salmon so he's a great target man, superb deep lying forward with his dribbling & passing abilities and a perfect poacher with that instinct to be in the right place at the right time. Plus he had more passion & drive than most of our contracted players last season especially the likes of Yiadom & Lindsay. If he can score all those goals on the wing for a relegation side in the championship it makes you think how many he could end up banging in a front 2 with good service against sides like Partick Thistle and Kilmarnock. Pull this one off and Celtic should be worried.
It’s longer than 15 years since Shipperley played for us but your points correct I can name at least 3 strikers better than McBurnie
Oli is miles better well rounded than him. Has stamina & can pass the ball for a start plus he's a better finisher!
This is what the posts really about isn't it? If you're going to criticize players you obviously don't like, at least do it in an original and honest way rather that going all Hemsworth on us.
Ashley Ward the best striker I've seen in the last fifty years, but hey ho, opinions are like arseholes - everyone has one.
It's not about opinions. He said he's watched us 15 years. Ward was before 2003 so he can't be given as a example of a better striker than Oli MCB in the time he's watched us.
These similarities between OnGoingCloud1887 and Hemmsy become more apparent with every post he/she makes. In fact, if it wasn't for OGC1887 recommending signing a player over the age of 14, I'd be beginning to think they were one and the same!
Allan Clarke is the best I've seen, although I wonder if anyone on here is old enough to have seen Tommy Taylor!
