Aye everything is the owners fault, let's not dare criticise the previous regime for 12 turgid months prior to that, jesus wept...
Mills and Gardner were not good enough, two players that had previously performed poorly in the championship. Players like Sam Morsy, Marley Watkins, James Bree would have kept us up.
Yes I agree the regime before was shameful with selling off all our best players on the cheap but if the new owners had invested in January they could have prevented being the owners of a third division club.
Jeez, this is hard work. Morsy chose not to join us....BEFORE ...the current board were in place. Watkins in particular and Bree chose to LEAVE. BEFORE the current board were in place. So how would they have kept us up?
chose not to stay because we offered them a button and a half a packet of peanuts. Oh yes I'm sure Morsy thought 'I fancy a relegation battle and to move back to the glamorous town of WIgan'. ALL the players who have left have done it because they've doubled, tripled or even quadrupled their wages like Snakey.
It's easy when it's someone else's money you're spending isn't it? "Just do this, just do that" kind of attitude. Fecking irresponsible to want to put our football club into debt to its owners.
9 billion pounds in chien lee's bank. Several million in Conways. I'm sure they'd all be sleeping on the streets eating pot noodles if they increased our wage budget by an extra 5-10k a week. And if they don't invest what is little money to them then they don't really care about us do they? Things are going to get real sour if they carry on in this fashion, especially when we're the next Coventry getting mullered by Forest Green at the bottom of the EFL.
Care about us? You big babby. What do you want? A bunch of flowers and some chocolates? They've been here 2 minutes and here you are crying like a big drunken pillock because things aren't living up to your expectations. I bet you don't even go to half the games? Why would you when you've such a big downer on the club?
Thanks, given that all the players you quoted chose to leave or not join before the new board you just made my point. Again....by the January window no quality Championship player was going to risk joining a relegation candidate. Why is that difficult to comprehend?
The old regime royally messed things up from summer 2016. The new owners should have invested more in January. I can complain about one or the other if I so please.
Because although perhaps he could have offered the likes of Hourihane better terms (even 25k a week would've been worth it and better than spending 1.5m on Thiam and Potts) PC obviously didn't have anywhere near the enormous wealth of Chien Lee.
Sorry but have we not cashed in enough and who else are we going to get who could almost guarantee you 20 odd goals.
So just how rich does somebody have to be before you tell them that a few thousand pound a week is small change? I'd have thought around £100m would have been enough for that to be the case tbh.
You complain about everything. If the new owners decide to cut us adrift and we go back to being penniless and unable to compete financially you'll have even more to scream about.
well 9 billion surely warrants it especially when you look at what his mate has done at Wolves. And no, I'm not demanding we sign Ruben Neves for 19m or throw 80k a week at players.
Since January 2017 this club has had countless things to complain about. I don't complain for nothing. In the 10/11 season I loved the manager, the players, the transfer policy etc. The guy on my picture was a tremendous player for our club. I could go on all day about things in the past that I praised to the hilt but at this moment in time my club is just in one hell of a mess caused by mistakes & incompetence and I won't applaud such a situation.
