Your reasons? If you have multiple accounts? The origin of life? Lots of things I have no idea about. It is however my opinion you are a wind up merchant. Albeit a good one.
You are arguing we had a good January transfer window just because they seemed good on paper at the time. Which does not keep on making it a successful transfer window if they turn out to be disappointing, which generally they were. You have to apply hindsight, to arrive at the grim conclusion we probably all agree upon, which is that we did not improve.
Absolutely correct. The op titles the thread to attack the new board and then proceeds to cite as evidence stuff that happened before they took over. Complete balderdash.
There’s people having different opinions and then there’s this thread Jesus Christ. Can’t believe I just spent my time reading this drivel. Must be on the wind up surely?
I’ve openly said some signings simply didn’t work out. My gripe is with people saying we shouldn’t have signed said players when it’s very easy to say that after the event. After the window closed I said we’d had an excellent January save for recruiting a new number one. I don’t think it’s fair to say that January was a disaster because of a lack of investment. We’ve gone down because we simply haven’t been good enough over the entire course of the season. It’s a collective failure from circa summer 2016 that has culminated in where we currently find ourselves.
At last! All the board is guilty of in terms of the January signings was financed the signings, that were highlighted. You can’t even blame the plan for Mills as he did not fit the criteria so must by default have been a request from the coaching team by default surely??
Some people really can't handle an opinion that doesn't portray everything to do with the club as sunshine, flowers and rainbows. The owners must invest more, The chief exec needs sacking and we need a huge overhaul of players. It is as simple as that.
Proper investment.....grow up. "Dear Mr Top rated Championship player. Please come and play for us, we're deep in a relegation battle." Top rated Championship player...."errrrrr, no thanks"
Offer 12k a week. This is nothing to the new owners. We did not need top championship players only players competent at this level to ensure survival.
You mean like Mills and Pinillos and Gardner? Or better than them? Ones who are playing first team football in the Championship at clubs who were safe from relegation and almost exclusively on more than 12k a week.
