I can't log into bbs via my pc. Done this message on my phone. Any idea why pc is failing to connect. Please be aware that I am old and stupid when computers are concerned. When I try to log in it tells me my user name is taken. But got in via my phone. Would it be the case my pc is done? I am in the process of trying to get another one. Thanks for any help. But please keep it simple.
If it says your username is already taken it sounds like you are trying to create a new account with your PC rather than just logging in. Logging in with the wrong username/password combination would give you a different error message.

Yeah. Pc can't get me in. I click the log in or sign up thingy in the r/h corner. It takes me to the sign up page. I don't seem able just to log in. There was no such problems this morning.
have you tried a different PC. Maybe a trip to an internet café and try to log on there on one of their machines.... it could be an ISP problem.... what search engine do you use, maybe a different one may sort it out.

It sounds like you are trying to sign up rather than sign in. The message you are getting would be nothing to do with the age of your pc.
I use Firefox. Doing a scan atm. My computer is old and in need of replacement but like everything else money is needed for other things.
Could be the case pal but I just do not see myself going wrong. OK scan tells me a Firefox app was outdated. This might be the problem. I'll try again in a minute.
If this is the screen you are getting: Make sure you have ‘yes, my password is:’ selected rather than ‘No, create an account now’ when trying to log in. The Firefox app is unrelated.
