Had a chat with a Former Scottish International yesterday

Sat next to Steven Pearson on the plane from Leeds to Wroclaw. He was one of an Everton party going to Poland for a youth tournament. Ten full Scottish caps and played for Celtic and a smattering of English clubs including a big money move to Derby and later Bristol City. We talked about the Reds of course and he was well informed about us. Mates with Jim O’Brien while at Motherwell.

PS. He didn’t know who our new manager will be

 

Random fact about Pearson. He once had a 6 month injury lay off after a collision with a wall during an indoor paragliding competition in Stretford.

 

Off the topic but did you book your flights via Jacks Flight Club by any chance if not how much did you pay for them ? Cheers

 

Not them, no. Just via the normal LBA booking route. Just under £200 for two of us including baggage and priority boarding. The prices go up and down according to season of course.

We always fly in to Wroclaw, pronounced “Vrokswaarve”. This is closest to my other half’s home town, but our preferred carrier is Wizz Air from Doncaster. They are far better than Ryanair in our opinion but we can’t use them if we are going from LBA.
