Are we going to bring in another unknown manager to try and get a load of kids from lower leagues back upto the championship or are we going to get serious and get some experience in the dugout and on the pitch to complement the younger members of the squad?

It's been an awful 18 months watching Barnsley and really disappointing after the platform we set upto January 2017 to push on and cement ourselves in the championship only to sell off our best players and replace them with largely inferior players from the lower leagues.

We had January to go out and get some players in after the takeover and didn't do it.... We needed a keeper that we failed to get and signed an Austrian fella that can't get on the bench. That's before we finally got shut of Hecky and had a chance to get a manager in who knew the league but we went for Jose who picked his teams out of a hat most weeks and baffled everyone with his tactics.

It's a mess but we have a chance now to get a few players out and get a management team in to steady the ship make some signings and challenge in the top 10 of league 1 next season.

Feeling quite dejected and annoyed at what's gone on at oakwell the last year or so but trying to take any positive out of relegation and hoping this is the jolt these new owners need to get them to do something positive on the field instead of harping on about revenue streams that mean next to nothing if the team on a Saturday are getting beat every week.

Have a nice summer everyone and fingers crossed were back on the up come August....

Hope we can rebuild with a good new manager that fans can warm to and relate to. Some of our players can perform well in league 1 and hope we have money to add some quality players to the mix. Even though I expected it and we deserved it, it's a horrible feeling but this season has been awful so next season has got to be better...please.

I'm not sure how much we will be able to spend with FFP and the loss in revenue from the championship.

Easy to get around, look at Man City owners plastering their company all over the club. Say we want to sign someone for half a million but it wouldn't keep us in FFP. What's to stop Chien lee renaming the West Stand the New City Capital stand for a while to get around the obsticle?

Mot sure but we've 6-7 million to make up before we even think about any signings....

I wouldn't have thought FFP would be a big issue for us. We must have a few quid in the buildo.
We do need to reduce the size of the squad. We might be able to list Mowatt in the used lawn mower section of Gumtree,
claiming a slight typo. Not sure what we do with Knasmullner though. Might be a job for missing persons?

The owners can gift as much as they like which counts towards turnover.

If that's the case we will see how serious they are about getting back up in the summer then.... New experienced manager first and foremost!!!

We'll definitely see in the next few months what vision the new owners have. Bolton survived still with a huge debt, we need to be careful what we wish for.

The owners are wealthy, but how much is tied up in other assets. Are they asset rich but cash poor? Are they the same as Mike Ashley, got all their money tied up in companies?

Mike Ashley is lovely person, but he has spent a lot on the club.
