    That explains why his son and Doncaster Manager Darren asked to be excused
    from attending the game against Wigan at the Keepmoat today.
    Not everyone's cup of tea, but lets hope Sir Alex makes a full recovery.

    my dislike of Man Utd is well known on here. But Sir Alex is one of the best managers ever. I hope he recovers speedily and my heart and prayers go to his family. All the Best Sir Alex.

    Sir Alex has been allowed to leave hospital and has thanked Doctors and Nurses for the
    expert care he recieved and says if it wasn't for their expertise he wouldn't still be here.
    Says he's going to take it steady and hopes to take up his seat at Old Trafford later on
    in the season. He's not everyone's cup of tea, but you have to give credit where it's due,
    he's been one of the " Giants" of our modern game.

    Good manager. Disliked him alot but grear news he is ok. Sickness and illness goes further than football feelings and rivalry
