Yes. That, and the fact the Wigan players were off their tits and they played a child in goal, but I'll tek 'owt.
just a mile down the road there's a hidden cave and we can watch those bandwagon ******* go galloping by.
Totally agree with you in general but don’t dismiss the lingering resentment that the Anfield FA Cup ticket fiasco caused.
Would you class me as a glory hunter? Season ticket holder who tends to do between 5 & 8 away games a season normally fairly local ones like Derby
I've only been to a paltry 8 away games this season but don't think I'll be able to get a ticket for derby - requested a new password for my online account 2 hours ago, then again an hour ago, and had nothing. Helpful.
Lots of oldies like me Marl thats been there and done that regular home and away tripping up and darn the country but in recent years finance, health and a refusal to watch poor footie has led me to rarely get to away games, one or two a season over last 5 seasons.
Yep I agree How can you measure against a youngun now that’s gone to loads of always say last three years against an olden that’s done similar for years and years and now goes to the odd few . Are the latter less deserving to watch their team in a crucial away game ? Imo no . There’s been a couple of situations where I haven’t been able to get a ticket for away games mainly cos I’ve left it late not knowing my work commitments but non the less I’ve still missed out the Huddersfield game springs to mind as one of them .
I have no resentment over Anfield , I wanted to take the grandson but dallied & failed to get a ticket but bought tickets for the beam back at Oakwell which I thoroughly enjoyed , however, it was my fault that I didn"t get to Liverpool & not the clubs
The Anfield ticket allocation was a complete ********. Letting season tickets holders buy 4 each was The Don's finest hour. We had 8000 season ticket holders at the time and they gave us 6000 tickets (I believe). Just madness.
