Reading that thread just makes you realise that we are all fans, just the same. Most of it could be cut and pasted and apply just the same on this board.
Funny to see how some of them still think we might catch them. We are all the same aren't we. Massive game for them in Saturday and Burton too. If Burton win (assuming we don't) they will be out of the bottom 3 with 1 game to go.
What an achievement that would be for Burton if they stop up! If we do go down Id much prefer Burton to stop up than Bolton. Clough, Wilder and Harris (urgghh) have done remarkably well and shown what can be done with minimal investment and a cohesive team spirit.
All footy fans are same whatever club imo Some always optimistic some always pessimistic and a vast range in between . Even the Man U fans and city etc if they think they won’t finish on the top four . Money has killed the game as we all know players on the 60s 70s would never have got away with not at least trying . We’ve seen it ourselves a few years back. This team has tried but just aren’t good enough , last night was evident of that imo no confidence in themselves or their teams mates and a resignation when the first goal went in. Some are saying it’s the manager but imo he hasn’t had a chance you can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear .
