Due to going to every home game this season and about 7 aways I have decided I'm going away when we play Derby cause am too tired to go. Am sure Jose will understand and not mind
Ive just driven back from a weekend in Portsmouth....so far too tired to watch reds in rest of games!
I've got an appointment with coconut airways tomorrow so I'll miss both games. Already looking forward to next season though.
Ive just invited the players round for an end of season bbq with free beer and other refreshments and beyonce doing a gig.....jose told me they were far too tired...oh well.
So have I. This morning I've renewed my season pass for next season. It'll be my fiftieth anniversary of watching our team (started on 10/8/68, a 2-3 home loss to Barrow, with Evans & Bradbury scoring), having won promotion from the Fourth Division the previous season. It appears we'll be at the same level next season, but entering from the opposite direction. Mad? Probably. But I, like thousands of others, don't just support the club when it's in the second tier, or when there's a successful period, It doesn't mean that such a dreadfully poor season doesn't hurt, engender feelings of anger, frustration and utter despondency, because it bloody does. I'll leave the blame game to others, though. It's now time for my medication!
My wife likes to visit stately homes and gardens. I've suggested Pride Park for a Sunday outing. Do you think she'll fall for it?
