    can we please have some perspective on the gulf in quality between premiership 2 and league 1!

    Perkins was considered an Albino Iniesta at League 1 level. I reckon we’ll be ok!

    Absolutely. Anyone predicting we'll fall straight through is just being a drama queen. Having said that, some very fundamental changes need to be made to give us the best possible chance of coming straight back up.

    And Moore, Thiam, Bradshaw, Ubgo, are any better.

    Armstrong isn't as bad a player as what everyone said, we just never played to his strengths, and least he had pace to get behind the opposition. Something we haven't got at all now.

    Kent was a big loss for us. Pace on the break. Was he perfect no. But he was far better than anybody we have now.

    No they aren’t. I wouldn’t play any of them!

    My point is to the drama queens saying relegation from championship means the players can’t step up at L1.

    Moore scores goals at League 1 level. No reason to think he won't next season, assuming that's where we are.

    In contract next season we have Hedges, Bird, Isgrove, Knasmullner, Mallan, McGeehan, Moncur, Mowatt and Potts. That's 9 midfielders. No one is going to buy any of those, they're rubbish. They cost us Christ knows how many millions, but they're rubbish. How do we justify bringing more midfielders in?

    Agree that we're overloaded in that area.

    Moncur - cancel contract
    Mowatt - probably ditto
    Potts - will probably be pretty good in League 1
    Isgrove - very good if he can stay fit
    Hedges - squad player
    Mallan and McGeehan - surely too early to write them off yet?
    Knasmullner - we've hardly seen him play. He might turn out to be absolutely ******* amazing. Might.

    At championship level they have not performed. I would like to see Mallan play in League 1. He has looked good the two times he played for Scotland u21s and I think real talent is in there. He’s a Tomlin type player.

    No idea about knasmullner! As I said at the time it was a completely random signing. Who the hell knows! Bird has potential. As I feel does Hedges and McGeehan in League 1.

    The championship was way too much way too soon. It may well have stunted their development. The right manager can hopefully unlock it in League 1.
