Worth every penny if this team bonding gets the desired result. Rather them be up fresh and ready to go, than be up half the night playing Fortnite.
I think it's a good idea. Time to focus and concentrate on the job ahead of them, as a team. Its not like they've been staying there all week, its one night before a big game. 'All in it together'
What desired results are these then ? If they haven't bonded before now they ought to go for their money back .
Sorry, just noticed this was at Oakwell. Thought they were doing some late afternoon training over Leeds way.
People will slag off Jose for absolutely anything. I personally think it’s good. It’s only a couple of months end of season crunch time. If binding/ team unity and a close watch on pre match behaviour helps then bring it on. I’ll bet you @JamDrop the ones with families spend an awful lot more time with them than the average worker even during the season.
They don’t stay over, they meet up for a pre-match meal and get on a coach together to the ground. Doesn’t cost the club a penny either
Seems like a man who is grasping at straws to me, he just doesn't know how to win enough football matches. It does kinda follow om with his number one ethos of "believe"... If he wins at Leeds and Forest on Tuesday, Then fill yer boots with the gimmicks. But there's no substitute for being able to set out a team, that can not only defend and not switch off, but can attack with menace and win games.
I just hope they've let Keiffer stop at home in his 8ft long custom made bed. No good his feet sticking out the end of some hotel bed all night or he'll be all cramped up tomorrow and not be on form to score our 3rd and assist for our 4th. Believe!!!!!
Used to be common practice for clubs before for big matches, trying to focus players on the job in hand in a controlled environment. Given that it’s a short period of time I don’t think it’s too much to ask given that folk on a lot less money have to routinely have to be at home week in week out.
I've just got home to my family at the end of another 60 hour week capped off by a train journey home from London in a train with knackered air conditioning. My heart is bleeding for them.
