    I didn't realise that was our last goal. Fitting such a legend scored our first and last goal in the top flight.

    Now please stop posting these things.... it's most unhelpful remembering we weren't as **** as we currently are ;-)

    Ramon Vega red card. Was it ward he pulled down? Would have been through to score. He took the red saved a point and we went down. That's how I remember it anyway.

    Wasn't this the game where the Spurs fans were shown crying on tv when they equalised? Bloody southerners...

    My abiding memory of that game is Martin Bullock dancing rings round Sol Campbell and leaving him on his backside. We weren't far short that season.

    We were hard done by an unlucky in the end, even though we finished a fair few points from safety, other seasons that total may have bene enough.

    You consider very late defeats at Leeds, Blackburn, Coventry and Newcastle. And of course that killer at home to Liverpool. Oh so close.
