    Had we not had a fire-sale in January 2017, and now look at us. We’ve gone backwards four years ffs!

    They were clever and only decided to play well after the January transfer window. Damn.

    Clubs were probably aware of our best players whilst we were winning the playoffs. Next test would be how well they did in the Championship.

    Millwall's players will have been under the same scrutiny, but they managed to side step January by virtue of being nowt special in the first half of the season.

    The devil in me wishes that Millwall would sneak their way up via the play-offs. Perhaps then the Powers That Be would be forced to take some action when their thugs run riot at swanky Prem stadiums.

    Then again, they don't come much swankier than Wembley and the FA did nothing after that debacle, so on second thoughts, maybe not...

    That's because the FA own Wembley, and so the fault lies squarely at their feet. What were they going to do? Admit they aren't fit to run a bath?
