£117 to watch 4 games of football, where the team is fighting for its life and the club needs every supporter it can muster, to come in numbers and get behind it. Absolutely brain dead.
The billionaires obviously need the money. What with them using January to bank money from a player sale to a then relegation rival and bringing in some loanees.
£50 far all categories for the last four games . The fan base is fed up as it is as shown by the amount of folk left in the stadium when the whistle went on Saturday . I’m a ST holder but you could let em in free for me , and that’s the only way we’ll fill the ground anyway !
Damage limitation exercise in fan recruitment. No way are we ever going to gain new fans who turn up to their first game to watch us soundly beat by Bolton and Bristol. Therefore we'll charge ridiculous prices so no one fancies coming and even though we are not gaining new fans, we're not losing any potential new fans either. Very clever strategy.
I don’t think 4 for £40 would work. We are cack, no one wants to go! Can milk the blades as a large away following before we can look forward to Donny bringing 1200 next season
Maybe we should be encouraging the young fans. Link up with the local schools. All students with good behavour/attendance get one free ticket. All students with bad behaviour and bugger-all attendance get four free tickets...
Interesting pricing. Bolton and Sheff U away were both £32 for our fans. We've priced one at £30 and the other at £36. If the policy was purely reciprocal, they both should have been £30, our nearest category.
In fairness unless we made it a fiver who would actually want to go at the moment. I had the chance to go visit family I don't often see good Friday or go down the Saturday (and miss a day) made the decision without a seconds hesitation and this was before Saturday.
