Multi Award winning TV presenter Ant McPartlin was arrested at 3.59pm this afternoon after failing a
roadside breathtest in Mortlake South West London. Three cars were involved and a young child
in one of the cars, was taken to hospital for treatment. Sounds as though the lad is hell bent intent on
    attempting to ruin his career.!

Perhaps he is not as recovered from his mental health issues as it seemed. Hopefully he has some good people around him to help.

Anyone who gets behind the wheel of a car after consuming alcohol is a pillock.

Well I'd hate to rake up the Carragher story again but I would have thought crashing into a car and inuring a young child whilst drunk behind the wheel of a car is a bit more serious than spitting at a car containing a teenager. I assume we wont be seeing him on our TV screens again for a while - or do we think this will be swept under the carpet as homage to the god of TV ratings

Glad it sounds like the kid wasnt seriously injured

Much worse, i wasn't defending him. Just think it's clear that the guy has problems and perhaps being off tv and not having to put up a front might be the best thing for him. Let's face it anyone with his kind of money should never need to drive at all, nevwrmind after drinking. Luckily sounds like everyone is ok, and maybe this will be a wake up call for him.

Normal member of Joe Public does it and people are quick to ask that the book is thrown at them. Popular celebrity does it and people say it's mental health and he needs support. No matter who you are, you should be treated the same.

Can't agree more RM. I don't care for the both of them but the British public seems to idolise
them for some reason. Purely because I was distracted, I listened to a trailer of their Saturday night show the other night.
How on Earth they can describe the shrieking Scarlett Moffatt as a "star" is beyond me.
Just sat on a chair with her Mam and Dad watching TV ( Gogglebox) doesn't make you a "star."
Two others who get on my nerves ,are Schofield and Willoughby. It seems, they're like
hoss sh*t, they're everywhere you look.

The newspapers (that less and less people are reading) would have you believe that these cheeky chaps are extremely popular. The truth is, the Netflix revolution is here to stay, binge viewing is in, adverts are definitely out and the ever diminishing viewing figures of commercial TV represents only a small percentage of what is really popular. In reality, its more likely to be Walter White, Thomas Shelby or Piper Chapman

Been announced that their live show will not "air" this weekend, as McPartlin has gone back into
Re-hab to attempt to solve his " problems."
