Left Oakwell last Tuesday annoyed at the second half and posted my thoughts on the tactics and formation of Morais, today left not annoyed just numb. To try and impose a new formation when time is running out is not working yet the manager continues to play the only goal threat on the wide left. The keeper and back four will always leak goals and the only chance we have to get three points is to score more than one goal. The way to do this is to bring back the best crosser of the ball at the club Adam Hammill and play 4-4-2, Moore being the spearhead with McBurnie and an attacking midfielder to pick up the pieces. It may not be pretty yet it may be the only way to avoid two years in League one but it seems Morais is too set in his thinking to make the best of what he has at his disposal for this to happen.
This with bells on. We haven't got the players to play the continental claptrap JM is trying to impose. Ball needs to be out wide for wingers to put in for Moore & McBurnie. It didn't work earlier in season admittedly, but that was when Bradshaw or Ugbo were up top on their own.
