    But it's not it's some kind of social site for a lot of people who seem to need counselling support and a lesson in manners and racism.
    There are some cracking football threads but many would be better on some other public forum - and quite a few posters seem to just want to provoke or upset.
    A tad boring - problem is u dun't know untill you check the thread content.
    I luv a good footy debate but not all the other garbage.
    Just an opinion.

    I don;t mind some of the none footy stuff as long as its interesting/funny. Of course we can do without the racist wumming and other ignorant goings-on but I guess it takes all sorts...

    If the site was just about football, we would have all slit our throats by now. It's been going for 20 years (including its previous incarnations). I don't think the critique of someone who's been posting for one month is going to hold much sway.

    Don’t think WES’s comment is trying to hold sway? He/she makes decent points I reckon, and they are not invalid because he/she hasn’t been on here for 20 years. I’ve been posting and (mostly) reading on here well before my profile start date (since about 2001 I think) and there has been some appalling non-football stuff published on here over that time.
    Having said that I can’t get to matches as much as I’d like now and this forum is still where I look for proper and sincere supporter opinion when stuff happens at the club . There’s been some great posters with terrific insight into Barnsley FC and football in general since the forum started, and some great debate too. The moderation has always been too lax tho, and as WES says, it can be ‘a tad boring’ endlessly reading people’s non-footy personal prejudices when I’m looking for proper football debate.

    Momentum plan to infiltrate football sites, was found out about some time ago, lots of sites have have loads of far-left members.

    They did the same thing with the Question Time audience.

    There's a bloke called Ray S who lives round the corner from me who posts a lot of Momentum stuff on his Facebook page. You must know him as he shares your house and name. He obviously has a personality disorder as he then comes on here and slags off the same stuff he posts on Facebook. The locals in Bradgate think he's a weirdo.
