    I agree what happens on the pitch counts and we wont stay up or go down based on words alone, that is obvious to everybody.
    But I can't understand why some are on his back unfairly already and saying its a load of boll*ks etc. :eek:

    Go on then, what do you want him to say in his first interview,Oh I know, we are punching above our weight, we shouldn’t be on the same pitch as some of these teams, you know ala Keith Hill. So he comes out as says the exact opposite and is accused of spouting the same rhetoric, make your mind up. We all know it’s all about results, no-one has said any differently. How dare we take anything positive from this interview.

    We're not allowed to it seems, as that might make us happy clappers and all that other garbage that comes with it. Like sucking up to the manager/coach or being too easily pleased etc.

    I banished player/manager speak to Room 101 after Hecky's departure. I will pass my first judgement on the new guy, once I've seen whether he can make a difference on the pitch.
