A few posters have revised their opinion on the standard of the squad in the past few weeks. Funny that.
I think there is more backbone in this squad. We're not winning games but I'm not seeing the same spineless surrenders that I witnessed that season. I was worried after Saturday but if we can keep Isgrove and McBurnie fit for the rest of the season we've got a chance (if we make the right appointment).
I don’t get why so many were convinced that we were dreadful & that we’d be the next Rotherham & then by January when we were outside the bottom 3 so many were complaining about Hecky as if he wasn’t getting the best out of the squad. It didn’t make any sense
Isn’t reviewing and revising your teams fortunes and misfortunes all part and parcel of the season? Hardly surprising that we are now beyond the half-way stage and therefore our league position will reflect many fan’s reassessments/expectations of where we will finish. Or is this just a thinly-veiled I told you so post? Are we all to abandon hope then that we can stay up and be feking miserable? As disappointing as this season has been, I’m not giving up on them yet
