Look at getting players in from the spreadsheet whilst at the same time sign players who are up to 28 and not on the spreadsheet and under 25???

We are that dead set on signing anyone who is 25 and under so we can make a profit that it's really hampering our squad and our chances in the championship.

I get that it worked previously but that was In the league below for the most part before we sold or lost people at the end of contracts.

It seems we are looking for a coach to work with a young group of players so we can train them up to sell again. Which is fine but We also need that experience to enable the younger members to grow and progress into first team football.

The new owners have said we want to build a team and keep it together to progress year on year but it just looks like the same old things happening and we will be training players up for bigger clubs to come in for them.

I would love us to have a blend of youth and experience coming in over the summer for the new manager to work with but I can only see us getting a manager in who will be asked to work miracles with kids again.

Agreed that we need some experience to blend in. I also feel, within limits, we are now able to afford a little more experience.
Beyond that, we have virtually nothing to judge the new owners on as yet other than a promise to develop the club sensibly. Time will tell how that translates.

Of our new players signed in January, Pinillos, Moore & Knasmullner are 25 and Mills is 31. Only the two loan players (Mahoney & McBurnie both being 21) are under 25, With the greatest respect, I'd suggest the new board ARE doing things differently when bringing in new players.

If older guys can add to the team like Matt Mills has so far, I am all for it. Only a worldie and a penalty has stopped him playing his part in a couple of clean sheets. He's looked solid so far and those around him will be learning off him too.
