Your opinion & mine differ, fist name on the sheet for me, he always gets the respect of the opposition who regularly double up on him thus creating space elsewhere & although he is now joined by Mills , he brings much needed experience to the side , I also think even when he is not playing well , never hides & always gives 100%

Fair enough, but not sure i see it that way. He hasn't provided any assists or goals all season and always looks like he's a tackle away from being sent off. Makes too many bad decisions for me.

Embarrassing tweet from the club about it at the time:

You'd have to say - seen them given. Bobby Hassell said on Deedah no pen, but I don't think he'd seen a replay.

Looks a pen off that clip.

No one can moan about Hammill playing this season. Isgrove’s been injured virtually all season & Hedges only performs off the bench so he’s pretty much had to start regardless of form

Hmm...catch 22 this one. Is it the quality of his crosses or the numpties at the other end of them at fault.

Lack of players on the end of them and for 95% of themseason so far a lack of ability of the players up front

Disagree. Love Hammill, but he's just not good enough anymore. Did nothing today.

Apart from should have had a penalty, should have had an assist but for poor finishing, and forced wildsmith into a fine save from his shot. Oh and did a lot of defensive work too.

Apart from that he did nothing

Hammill’s frustrating but he set up a great chance for McBurnie, a good one for Moore & should’ve got us a penalty. Not the right day to criticise him

I’m with you Mateo. I think all sentiments aside and the mutual love for hammill, he’s not producing in this league

League 1 he was unstoppable, you then fast forward to today and he’s trying the same tricks but against far superior opposition

His crosses either never beat the first man or are lofted with no real purpose. His corners today were nothing short of dreadful

I’ve been his biggest fan since his first stint with us but he ain’t the same player anymore

He’s always a red card waiting to happen.

Hedges in for me in his place

Not sure it was a pen, but should've played mcburnie in then anyway. Which assist? Which shot? Can't tackle, nearly got sent off again.

I agree, got to be one of the first names on the team sheet, might not make 90 minutes every week but I would start with him.

Glad to see some putting sentiment aside. Really want him to do well, but just not producing this year unfortunately.
