But if hecky chooses to go to Leeds it will be the biggest ******* mistake of his career and could ruin his managerial career before it's even started. Leeds have a reputation of firing managers at the first sign of trouble and what are all the sacked managers doing now? And hecky for as much as I like him is not a brilliant manager. He's a good young inexperienced manager who is learning the ropes and making a lot of mistakes along the way. That is a combination that is doomed to fail. He could see himself out of the door by the end of the season and scraping around the lower leagues for a job. If he goes I wish him nothing but the best but I do fear for his career and think that in the long run it could be extremely harmful for him
You've always got to back yourself though. Someone has to turn it around at some point, that'll be his thinking. Who knows it might be him.
I can't fault him for that I just think that any manager would be absolutely crazy to go anywhere near Leeds united. It's like accepting the job as ahead of the FBI at the minute.
Personally I don't think he's got anything to lose. It's a free shake of the dice. If he goes and does well then great if he doesn't then he'll be able to use the "Leeds is a basket case of a club" excuse. If that happens then a lower Championship club or promising League One club would take him no problem plus he'll have a good pay off from Leeds.
I agree with the first paragraph. So why should he want to go there? Is he jumping before being pushed? I think he is. Don’t agree with your second paragraph - Hecky has proved he’s a very good manager. Don’t agree with your third paragraph - I hope Hecky gets the sack inside two weeks and never works in football again.
