For me is that when all this settles down the club will be in real danger of losing its identity and connection with the town, because when you look at it with the foreign owners and CEO hecky was the only connection with the town in a senior position at the club. For me the new owners would do well to appoint someone local to the board to act as a local advisor to try to keep the club connected to the town and it's fan base.

I'm not that worried about that other clubs still support their clubs with passion and they have foreign owners managers etc we as a town and club could do with and desrve a bit of success at a higher level than league 1.

Why do we need local involvement?
Fans will be fans regardless of who's involved.

If Hecky goes, then it’s a big wake up call for all of us. There’s no ‘one of our own’ any more. In fact the club itself isn’t one of our own.
It may be good for us in the long run as we develop a wider view of possibilities from outside the town and even the country.
I think that given time Hecky would have turned it round, but maybe a new guy will do it quicker.

James Cryne still owns 20% and is on the board as well.
