    Childish vitriol? By that I assume you mean "my own personal opinion"? Unfortunatley this message board has members like you, people who blindly support a manager just because he is "one of our own". Any other manager would have been axed 10 games ago. His tactics have been woeful, he has lost the plot completely, but thats fine. You keep singing "Paul Heckingbottom, he's one of our own" until we are at the foot of League 2. I know its escaped your notice so I will remind you that as I type this, your messaiah is currently whoring himself in Leeds saying, no doubt, how much he would love to manage such a massive club....makes me sick.

    Leeds now but could have been Forest or Sunderland before that so knew an approach he'd accept would come along sooner or later, it just happened to be sooner

    My two peneth... if i was in HECKYS shoes I'd be seriously tempted....i don't have to move home
    kids can stay in same schools
    I'm not up rooting the wife and causing the family to be apart.
    Most likely tripling my wages plus a nice tidy bonus if I get them promoted.
    More chance of promotion with Leeds than with bsly size wise .
    Plus if I get sacked my pay off will be huge.
    Overall I will be set up for life.

    What would you do in his shoes.

    What we don't know is what's taking place behind the scenes. . Paul as either just made sure we get a pay off if he leaves or on the other hand he's maybe not happy with the state of play 're recruitment and where the new owners see the direction of the club going and their ambitions for the club ...so he has decided that the Leeds job is too good to turn down ...whats going to speak wonders will be the owners reaction to it all
    Yes i will be sorry to see him go but will wish him well and thank him for what he's done . I hope and pray that the new owners are not just prepared to bob along and tread water like weve done for years ...other wise up **** creek without a paddle springs to mind ....its worring times ahead without a skipper at the helm we certainly could be shouting deploy the lifeboats any time soon
