I just want us to win football games and give us the best chance of that. Hedges is a better winger than George moncur that's a fact, I would have even started DMH on the wing before moncur v Fulham.

I think Cavare should play right wing. He played there in trials and for Huddersfield against us and was the best player on the pitch. It would strengthen the right hand side and allow the team to play 442. It's not going to happen as the Coach doesn't seem to have a clue at the moment.

Northampton in cup last season. The whole team was set up for Moncur to play in that role. We were god awful and Moncur playing as an attacking midfielder was the worst of them. Lost the ball every time, couldn't control it, just shocking. He didn't take his chance and unsurprisingly he lost his place for the following game and was sat on the bench.. Those brought into the side that game did take their chance and we we won 5 of the next 6 league games. By this time Moncur and his dad had been complaining about him not being in the side and engineering a loan move to Peterborough.

Colchester made moncur their main man. Built their style of play around him. Moncur was their star man and got his move to the championship. Colchester got relegated

I know he scored 14 goals for them but Ive wondered before if they could have stayed up had they had 11 players contributing in the games where he didn’t score.

    Maybe too simplistic

Moncur has zero pace he isn't bad with the ball at his feet but he is no winger. Hedges has looked good coming on from the bench and he did against Fulham. You have flagged moncur off all season now your saying he should be starting on the wing before hedges?

I’m saying he’s a better footballer. But it’s like saying choose how you want to have your knob chopped off, frankly.

I'd say hedges is the better winger and moncur is the better no 10. But that is just my opinion and you are entitled to yours.

Exactly! Why? I don't get it but I have to trust that Hecky has a plan - I hope I get to see it work before the end of the season.

Well not the best two players ever to put the shirt on. I can forgive them for that if one scores the winner next weekend.

I can't comment on that as I was working that day. We've got enough wingers already though I think we just need to use them and hecky needs to trust them.

I agree that he isn't a winger, but he beat more players yesterday than Hammill who is.

That's not me having a go at Hammill btw, cos he's one of my favourite players.

Wingers are a luxury we can't afford at the minute I'd play 4-3-3 with Mcburnie and Moore with Moncur just behind as a front 3, 3 midfielders - Williams, Mallan and Gardner, back 4 with Cavare coming back and use him and Yiadom for width - we should have enough with the 3 midfielders to cover them going forward.

I don't agree with that.... How are wingers a luxury? We aren't scoring so obviously not winning so playing 3 in midfield which we have done a lot this season has proven not to work.

We need goals and players playing in the correct position.

The amount of times we got in a good position yesterday and Yiadom was left on his own trying to get past 2 defenders and cross the ball in was so frustrating and I couldn't believe when hecky took Hammill off and left it the same with Moncur not supporting Yiadom.

I've got a lot of time for hecky but tactically sometimes he baffles me and his use of subs is sometimes very strange.

I really hope we beat Wednesday on saturday or the people calling for his head are only going to get louder....
