Just because you know what’s coming and you’ve seen it a thousand times before, doesn’t mean that you can’t have hope for change, especially when just 6 weeks ago it looked like things were taking a turn for the better, but no the dinners going to be burnt yet again.
The sky is falling....... The aim for this season was to avoid relegation, pretty sure we are going to do that. Then we have the summer window and then next season and see what that brings.....
It’s been in the oven four months and now it’s getting to the critical point, bound to be a bit of panic especially when looking through the glass it’s not looking too good to be honest.
Transfer deadline day is traditionally known as a manic day for last minute stuff. It's been like it for years, regardless of how big the club or level they play at. If it was as simple as identifying players over the preceeding months and just going out and getting the business done as soon as the window opens, then surely we'd all be doing it. Also, our recruitment is made more difficult because we operate within age and price restrictions for now.
Anyone with eyes and a memory knows exactly what the summer transfer window will bring, we’ll need 11 players we’ll get 6 in by end of July then scramble about bringing in 3 more right at the end of the window.
I went out for a meal last night with my wife so I missed it all. I had one slurp of soup then realised the entire meal was crap.
Was it one of those foreign soups nobody has ever heard of? If your ambition is limited to ordering cheap foreign soup then you end up with the rubbish meal you deserve in my opinion.
I went to the same restaurant, our meal was booked for 11pm so we went at 5 and decided the service was rubbish
I remember ordering a scowen starter, Hourihane main and Watkins as a sweet, never tried em before but turned out to be pretty good
I know there were plenty of people hammering the club last night , prematurely for sure , the lack of patience with anything going on at the club is pathetic , it was same with the takeover because in some peoples eyes it was not happening quick enough . On that subject , I see Newcastle"s sale is still on going despite posters on here making a big thing about how there sale would go through before ours . Why cannot people just chill & let things happen when they happen
When I complained about our meal I got told all the good food had been served a month ago and they only had leftovers to dish up.
