    How come Sunderland can afford Fletcher's wages, but not McBurnie's?

    Fletcher will take some time to get back up to speed and some confidence and neither team has that sort of time and Sunderland fans done have the affection for him we do to let him make the mistakes. Poor move for all parties.

    why hecky even mentions him when we dont have a chance of signing him i'll never know. he should just put to bed the rumour unless he uses it to deflect from other signings.

    Its like when you go to a car auction and you bid for the Ford Mondeo to 8 grand, but some tw&t bids 9 grand, then the next lot is a fiesta and you get it for 4 grand. You still end up with a car, but its not quite the same as the one you came into the auction looking for is it?

    I do, having watched a few of his cameo performances against better teams than we will face this season. Coupled with seeing fletcher looking like a husk of the player we had echoed by my boro supporting pals. Again I don’t think we agree on much of anything so irrelevant. As you were DTNIII.

    Why what has Hecky said? I've never heard him say we're in for him. The opposite, if anything. Only time I've heard him mention him is when he's been asked by journos
