Yes, hard to believe it's the last time we beat QPR away; 68 years of hurt. Won 5-0 that day, and then thrashed them 7-0 at Oakwell in the November. About time we bust this away record on Saturday, long overdue!
Hoping I witness it in person this Saturday. Think I have seen 9 losses there so far! Expecting to see a much changed side lining up on Saturday, although hoping to see a 4 man midfield with two wide men. And hoping we at last have serious competition for places.
We've got to win there sooner or later. Went last season and it was like a friendly. Apart from a bloke with a Mexican hat shouting "chips and gravy" at us, it was very subdued. Their first goal typified why we never get owt there. The scorer knew very little about it. Oh, and Elder played. That's never going to help you lay a ghost.
Bogey teams are a fact of life, but that doesn't mean it ALWAYS has to be that way. We've surrendered often enough to teams that never win at Oakwell so there is no reason why we can't go to Loftus Road this season, or any other season, and get a win. It's not like they are invincible, is it?
I'm making my third visit there fully expecting that we won't turn up, but you never know. I'd say stranger things have happened but if they have I'd like to hear them...
What an intro Agreed, I hope we have a real go at them, pressing for the whole 90 minutes, as we were (I'm led to believe) for the first 45 minutes against Fulham. I've got some QPR supporting mates and I want to dish something back to them after sooo long!
I think I have only been there the once and, of course, we lost! I won't be there this Saturday but will be glued to my computer here listening to Matt go bonkers as the goals rain in at their end
I am only going as I don't want to miss the victory when it does come. I have seen us take a point there. It must have been our play off season 1999/2000. A young bean pole called Crouch was playing for them.
I'm hanging onto the hope that this is our time, based on the rare points we got at Wednesday and Norwich. Having said that, Barnes scored both equalisers and he's gone. Tommy tap in is due a goal though.
Very overdue Every time we playing well I think this time. Then we lose. Every time we not doing well I think this time it could be shock result then we lose Not saying owt this time
Chin up mate! Let's hope we have a real go at them, and if we go one up, go for two, hitting on them on the break.
You've just quoted a post from Tuesday...how has he only made his first post this morning? Typical stuff at QPR - play ok, miss chances, lose.
