A big thumbs up to Lee for wearing a black armband to show his respect for Patrick Cryne on Saturday.
Nowt against the guy at all.. Bristol are his team, it's simple. Plus by the time he left, we had started our fantastic winning sequence so he must take a fair bit of credit for pulling us back into shape..
I like lj. Had a bad start with us. Turned it around and went his club to manage and done a good job all in all. Had a great night at fleetwood in 2nd leg of jpt trophy northern final . Always speaks well. Respect to his black armband
So he should. At the end of the day the bloke has worn a black armband. It's not like he's scaled Everest to raise money for cancer research.
Well done Lee Johnson, I say, and I'm sure the majority of Reds fans will agree. Out of interest, did you scale Everest to raise money for cancer research - or did you even wear a black armband?
Why? I grow increasingly tiresome of praising people for these very small gestures. You might as well praise everyone individually who managed to stay silent for 60 seconds on Saturday. Johnno owes where he is now to Patrick Cryne. A black armband is the least he can do.
I posted my condolences on here and kept my mouth shut for sixty seconds on Saturday. That must make me a class act.
Well done for doing that. I'm sure Lee Johnson would have done the same had he been at Oakwell on Saturday. Just don't slag him off because he had the courtesy and respect to wear a black armband in memory of Patrick Cryne.
And I think you've missed the point of this thread. Hint: it wasn't created to specifically annoy you.
What were the chances someone would come in and try and derail a thread on Lee Johnson? And then claim they're not trying to derail the thread... Fair play to LJ. Gave us the worst of times and started us off on our way to the best of times. Good to see him pay his respects to the man who has had a big hand in the successes he's enjoying at the moment.
Got no problem at all with Lee Johnson, and good to see him doing well. Some nice touches from him, re. Patrick. Fair play to him.
