    What the hells happened here !!!
    Manzala has caused the club embarrassment.
    He must have seen something or heard something he didn't like.
    Surely Ganaye has met him in France - so something bad has happened.

    Or perhaps, he came to see the club/ ground and meet people face to face, and and pending passing a medical could sign there and then. Or, Perhaps his current club said they would offer him more if he stayed with them. This is not an uncommon situation in football.

    It's probably happened at a lot of clubs over time.

    Didn't someone have a photo shoot in his new clubs shirt and then do a U-turn and go somewhere else one season?

    It doesn't help that we are privvy to all these moves before they happen.

    If things were kept quiet, then less people would jump to conclusions and there would be less disappointment.

    Discussions - yes.
    But getting here from another country to just have a medical and then sign - NO.

    This is giving the impression that he hasn't liked what he has seen - which is an embarrassment.
    OR.
    He has not liked what has been said to him by the staff and/or players at the club - also an embarrassment.

    Did the club ever issue any statement about this player?

    If not, then there is no embarrassment.

    Or it could be neither of those things. What if a deal was agreed in principle and then he or his agent has scuppered the deal by moving the goalposts? It could be any number of things. Pointless speculating to be honest.

    Minty canapeel came over last year. He didn’t sign. I know of at least 4 players who got deep into negotiations when we were in the prem who didn’t sign.
