I detest the House of Lords. I would detest it even more if Scargill was in there. Though I agree if that lot are in there, he's probably more entitled to be there than the rest of them put together. Sadly though that is not saying a lot. We could have a separate H.O.L thread on here which would be far more interesting than the Brexit crap we seem to get.
I said start with the House of Lords there’s loads of other detestable scrounges Bankers, other financial spiivs lawyers, etc etc but the papers and tv tell their brainwashed followers to hate the scargills if this world who are detested by the privileged cause they try to improve the workers lot and not surprisingly it works s treat for them
Mmmmm... well Arthur has done himself no favours by trying to align himself with the elite by seeking to have himself entitled to those same things that you or I neither need or expect.
It was in his contract the exact same as Gormley before him As i said before there’s lots more to answer to the public than scargills but it seems the NUMs money is more important to some than the public purse that these scrounges are pilfering from . As I also said a distraction for blinkered
That’s not what my posts implied but if that’s your best summary keep it. I know the prejudices against certain people are easy to stir but the truth is the truth choose what. My posts are clear on what I think of privileges but as far as I’m concerned what Scargills did for miners who were bound by the 1940s powerloading agreement in which a miner could work at the coal face from 16 years old as it was then to 64 and have to come off the face usually because they could hardly breathe and then had their pension slashed by the then coal board . Yeah you can slavver at him all you want I sae it first hand and as far as I’m concerned he could have a full block of flats in the Barbican out of the num funds as far as I’m concerned. Scargills is a better man than you’ll ever be and I’ve never met you.
Well my Dad was one of the miners who was out in 84/85 and undoubtedly loyalty to the union and his friends played a part but to suggest that hundreds of thousands of men came out ‘ because Arthur Scargill told them to’ is idiotic and an insult to the suffering that took place. It almost implies that Coal Miners were too thick to make their own judgements. A view i’ve heard many times over the years but one I don’t expect to have to hear on this site. Pathetic.
