    Ok, then, I don't understand why gay sex has to be referred to derogatorily to describe a heavy football defeat.

    Shafted and humped could refer to sex into any orifice of any gender. And if people don't realise its disparaging of gay people, then you're either ignorant or don't care about its connotation.

    But hey, you live your life, you make your choices.

    Why not? It I'm in the forces pal, have been all my working life, if you've never served then you'll not understand that we don't hang on every single thing someone says, freedom of speech and all that, I can't see how it's that offensive to be perfectly honest. I'm not gunna bother to try to explain myself any further because I can't be arsed and this debate is nonsense to me tbh.

    Implied negatives in your words. That people who find offence "like the sausage". "Am I coming out?" Both implied negativity and uses of the text to attack others.

    Also an implied assumption of my sexuality that i'm straight to begin with. Whether I was gay or straight is immaterial however.

    Its how you see the world. You can say you have no issue, but your words and the way you use them imply differently.

    Anyway, we've secured a point against the best team in the division, I'm going to enjoy that... together with being completely content with my sexuality, gender, and the way I see the world and confidence to highlight when minorities are being attacked mocked or denigrated, whether through ignorance, the thinly disguised veil of humour, or something more sinister.
