Completely untrue. I think he gets treated more harshly because he’s from Barnsley. The ones who want him out always use the ‘he’s from Barnsley line’. Where as I’ve barely seen anyone use that he’s from Barnsley to defend him.
Because those people who think he's gods gift think so mainly because he's from Barnsley and they are the same people who think any decision he makes should never be questioned Personally I'm in the middle. Don't love him, don't dislike him. We could have better and we could have worse. He's annoying me at present though with his negative approach to everything.
"he's (he has) been a disaster for over a year now and if he wasn't from Barnsley 99% of fans would want him gone." That is a statement of fact. he HAS been a disaster not I BELIEVE he has been a disaster. 99% of fans WOULD want him gone. Again a statement of fact. You don't need to include the word fact at the end of a statement to make it a statement of fact.
Yes you do. You don't need to include the words in my opinion to make it an opinion then surely? However, as I've pointed out previously. Look back at our results since last January and they will point out that it's a fact whether or not I said it was a fact.
His negative approach? I just think we’ve got the weakest team in the league, with barely any experience, with one of the league’s smallest budgets & due to huge turnover of players in the summer we’ve got a squad still getting used to each other. I think all them ingredients add up to a side which should be bottom of the league whether the managers Pep Guardiola, Paul Heckingbottom or Simon Davey. I just hope we can stumble our way to safety & that a years experience & gelling together will see us have better upcoming seasons
Looking at our results does not to me prove that the manager who is under incredible constraints has been a disaster. It SUGGESTS to me that the 'plan' and business strategy of the club has been a disaster but not that the manager has. That is purely your OPINION. And no you didn't not need to include the word fact for something to be considered a statement of fact. See defamation law
Didn't not need? Incredible English there for someone so intent on trying to prove their intelligence.
Not trying to prove any intelligence. Ironically enough i was simply stating a fact. Ps auto correct gets everyone from time to time.
I give up. He clearly thinks that BBC news is a gossip column and opinion piece as I never hear the newsreaders say the word fact after each headline.
If PH leaves all it deserves is a 'so what' shrug of the soldiers. I'm not saying I want him him to go, but im not losing any sleep over it. If I have a gripe, it's the fact he doesn't seem able to make average players any better than what what they were when bought. He was great with Lee J's team, but when asked to assemble his own squad using 'the plan' has proven terrible. He gets a bye from most because of taking up the team he inherited, but it's conveniently ignored that he's hardly improved a single player since the squad was sold underneath him. In fact major signings in Moncur, Mowatt and McGeeghan are/have had to be loaned out to try motivate them.
I’d disagree with this. Pinnock, Lindsay, Jackson, Gardner, Potts, Hedges, Bradshaw are all players that I think have improved a fair bit.
Not to mention continuing to improve Roberts, Scowen, Houriane, Winnall, Watkins, Yiadom, Fletcher, Isgrove, Brownhill etc etc
A team of L2, Scottish and non-league players is currently outside the bottom 3. I’d say that that’s improvement Again, he doesn’t pick the players
