    Our system seems to be on the floor. It seems to have been floored by our last 4 opponents.

    It's in all likelihood flawed too, if that's what you meant.

    "Floored" is on reflection a better description.

    Cold analysis will say that our income and expenditure puts us in danger of relegation. I think most people would have admitted in august it would be a struggle this season. We overachieved into October we are now probably underachieving. The regression back to the mean will be somewhere in between and it will be close to the relegation zone or in it. So getting rid of Hecky strikes me as stupid. That doesn't mean it won't happen of course.

    All the more reason to hang onto players such as Scowen and Roberts. That's the spine of a solid championship team right there!

    Like I say, I’m convinced that the model used will have suggested one had plateaued in terms of improvement and the other would have been 29 and therefore worth less at the end of the desired 3 year deal

    Cost of everything, value of nowt.
