    If he's going to take over, how the current board approach things is largely irrelevant. It's like refusing to buy a house you were planning to renovate because you don't like the bathroom.

    I would have thought that the best person for any prospective buyer to talk to about future progression is Hecky. Chien & Co will be putting some money in (hopefully) but Paul is effectively the man who will be spending it. In a nutshell, PC is the Salesman, PH is the Product!

    This takeover is dragging on with more uncertainty than the Brexit negotiations. Surely the best thing for all concerned is for someone to come out and tell us just where we are at if only to stop the on/off ping-pong on here.

    Rubbish. They knew the score when they started negotiations, complete with the limitations of the playing staff and mitigating circumstances this season. Assuming they've done their due diligence of course.

    How can you call my post rubbish then qualify everything you've posted with an assumption about due diligence?

    "They" didn't "know the score" of the last 4 games when they started negotiations, and a mini implosion on the pitch can't be helping things Shirley.

    What would help is a semblance of information as to what is happening. This secrecy is a pile of crap. We're not negotiating a nuclear treaty here. There aren't competing bidders. There's not a stock market share price to be affected.

    Why can't we be told about where the process has reached, what still needs to be done, what the potential hurdles to be overcome are etc.?
