With our current run of results I don't think he'll be top of anyone's list to fill their next Managerial Vacancy. Having said that, I still have faith he can turn this around but bottom 3 for Christmas is looking ominously close now!
He can only work with what he's got, and i'm afraid the best manager in the world couldn't sort this lot out.
Correct. One person to blame. I said the plan would be followed to destruction because of where it came from.
Does hecky have no say in the players we signed, the players that are picked and the tactics employed in the games we play ?
Need to know if this takeover is on or off , time to start preparing for January and budget Paul has to work with
He chooses players identified by a system. These might be best we could get from that list I’m not saying he’s blameless as he has made mistakes but selling Roberts was negligent and it was avoidable We could also have kept Scowen but likely as not the system indicated he wasn’t going to improve further so the cost/benefit analysis of paying him more said let him go. It’s got cost o everything and value of nowt written all over it
Systems are floored ask anyone who backs horses by using them eventually every winning system looses in a big way.Think our system is floored
Don't disagree with that, but as you say and its the point i was trying to make, is that hecky isn't blameless. This is probably his first rough patch as manager and it will be interesting to see how he handles it. If he comes out of the other end unscathed they should name a stand after him
You mean the likes of Stevie Mallan? Jared Bird? Jacob Brown? Victor Adebejayo? Absolutley, can't be worse than the **** we are persisting with now.
I'm sure PH said a month ago, he'd given up on planning for the January window due to the takeover. I wouldn't expect there to be any signings, only loans if they are still allowed. Could be wrong.
